3D Helical Spring Modelling

This project is a 3D model of a helical spring created in AutoCAD. I made this to practice 3D modeling tools and to understand how a spring is represented in mechanical design.

About Project

I started the model by creating a basic shape and then forming the spring structure step by step using 3D tools in AutoCAD. I adjusted the height and pitch until the spring looked balanced and realistic. This small exercise helped me understand how geometry and dimensions work together to form an accurate 3D object.

The final model shows smooth coil spacing and proper alignment. I also made a short animation to preview the spring from different angles, which gives a better visual idea of its structure.

Through this project, I learned how to control the shape of 3D models, use different tools efficiently, and pay attention to small details that make the model look correct and professional.
